WALL FLWRZ

Kicking off January 2024, I’m thrilled to present WALL FLWRZ—an exhibition featuring my favorite lumen prints. This collection showcases the enchanting beauty of familiar flowers like lilies and roses, in an unfamiliar way.

Lumen printing, a 19th-century alternative photographic technique, captures the ethereal essence of botanicals sans a camera. Objects like flowers are placed on photosensitive paper, exposed to sunlight, creating unique and unpredictable results. I often incorporate fabrics and embellishments, which adds an extra layer of interest to each piece. I look forward to sharing this special collection with you during the run of the show and at my reception.

You can access the exhibition and the reception from the yellow doors to the building. To locate the parking lot, set your GPS to 2101 Winter Street.

I'm an alternative and traditional photographer living in Houston, Texas. Before stretching my creative wings, I was a content strategist for a software company. During the later part of my tenure there, I learned a lot about the U.S. medical industry when I acted as a patient advocate for my father.
